How to Verify Your Bank Account

  1. Open the refund portal

Your Form Number is your application number: if you have lost it, find your application number here.

Fee Refund 2026: Common Questions

Who gets a Pre D.El.Ed 2026 fee refund?
Candidates who took part in counselling but were not admitted: those who were allotted no institute, those who were allotted one but did not report, and those who had their admission cancelled. Each of them must first verify their bank account on the official refund portal.
How much money is refunded?
If no institute was allotted, Rs. 2,900 of the Rs. 3,000 registration fee comes back (Rs. 100 is kept). If an institute was allotted but you did not report, everything you deposited comes back minus Rs. 500. If you had your admission cancelled, everything you deposited comes back minus Rs. 1,000.
What is the last date to verify my bank account?
12 October 2026. The refund portal opened on 26 September 2026. Without verification on the portal the refund cannot be paid.
What details does the refund portal ask for first?
Your Roll Number, Form Number, mother's name and date of birth. Fill them in and click Proceed; the portal then shows the two mobile numbers from your application for the OTP. The Form Number is your application number, which you can find here if you have lost it.
Can I fill the refund form again later?
No. The refund portal says the refund form can be filled only once, so check your bank details carefully before you submit. For any mismatch, contact the coordinator's office on the helpline on this page.
Can the refund go to my father's or mother's bank account?
No. Only a bank account in the candidate's own name is accepted, and a refund request for anyone else's account is refused in every case.
Can I send my bank details by email, or apply offline?
No. Refunds are made only through the online portal. Offline applications are not accepted, and bank details sent by email are not used, so do not email them to the office.
What do I upload during verification?
A clear, readable scan of a cancelled cheque or of the first page of your bank passbook, for the account the refund should go to.
The OTP goes to a number I no longer use. What do I do?
The portal shows the two mobile numbers from your application and lets you pick one for the OTP. If you want it on a different number, use the Change option shown there to update the mobile number.
How will I know the refund has been paid?
Print the verification receipt and keep it, then keep checking your refund status on the official Pre D.El.Ed 2026 website. For problems with verification, call or email the helpline on this page.
