Who Can Register for Counselling

Every candidate who appeared in the Pre D.El.Ed 2026 exam can register for counselling. The result was released without any cut-off, so there is no separate qualifying score in this exam to clear. Your merit position is your percentage, published after section-wise scaling and normalization.

You must still meet the basic eligibility for the course: passing the qualifying (Class 12) exam with at least 50% for General, and 45% for women and for SC, ST, OBC, SBC, MBC, EWS, PH, widow and divorced candidates.

What You Need to Log In

The Counselling Form opens with four details from your application and admit card.

Counselling ID
Roll Number
Mother's Name
Date of Birth (DD-MM-YYYY)

If you applied for both General and Sanskrit (or minority language), you will have two separate counselling IDs. Counsel separately with each, but at reporting you may join only one institute; the other counselling ID is then cancelled automatically.

The Counselling Process, Step by Step

  1. Correct your form first, if needed

A pre-counselling correction window ran June 11 to 16 (Rs. 200), and is now closed. See the Correction Panel page for what could be changed and what can never be changed.

  2. Register and pay Rs. 3,000

Log in to the Counselling Form and pay the Rs. 3,000 registration fee online (June 11 to 16). This amount is adjusted into your course fee after admission.

  3. Fill your college choices

Add as many teacher-education institutes as you can; you may select whole districts or All Rajasthan. Lock carefully: you cannot edit your choices after locking, and they lock automatically on the last date.

  4. Check the first allotment on June 20

Log in to see the institute allotted to you in the first round.

  5. Pay the Rs. 13,555 admission fee (June 20 to 27)

If you are allotted a seat, pay the remaining admission fee online and upload your documents in your login.

  6. Report in person (June 20 to 29)

Visit your allotted institute with your original documents for verification, and collect your provisional admission slip from your login.

  7. Upward movement, if you want a better choice

Apply on July 3 to 4 for a higher-preference institute. The result comes on July 7 and reporting runs July 7 to 9. There is no extra fee; if no new institute is allotted, your current seat stays, and the fee is not refundable.

Counselling Fees, Explained

FeeAmountNotes
Registration feeRs. 3,000Paid at registration. Adjusted into your course fee after admission. If you get no seat, Rs. 2,900 is refunded (Rs. 100 deducted); if allotted but you do not report, Rs. 2,500 is refunded (Rs. 500 deducted).
Admission feeRs. 13,555The remaining admission amount, paid online after allotment (June 20 to 27).
Form correction (optional)Rs. 200Only if you use the pre-counselling correction window.

Refunds on the Rs. 3,000 registration: if you are not allotted any seat, Rs. 2,900 is returned (Rs. 100 deducted). If you are allotted but do not report at the institute, Rs. 2,500 is returned (Rs. 500 deducted). False information during counselling forfeits the full Rs. 3,000.

Refunds are paid only to your own bank account, so make sure your bank details (name, account number, IFSC) are correct; errors there are your responsibility.

Documents to Upload in Your Login

After allotment, upload clear scans of these in your counselling login. Keep the originals ready for verification at the institute.

Class 10 and 12 marksheets (soft copy)
Handwritten self-declaration (format on the portal)
New passport-size photo
Valid caste certificate, if applicable
Mool niwas / special mool niwas certificate
Sub-category certificate (widow, divorced, disability, defence, ex-serviceman), if applicable

Choice Filling: Important Tips

Choices are how the system allots your institute, so fill them with care. You can add as many institutes as you want, and you can select whole districts or All Rajasthan. If you pick districts, every teacher-education institute in those districts is added to your choice list.

Lock your choices carefully. Once locked you cannot edit them, and if you do not lock by the last date the system locks them for you. Order them by genuine preference, since higher choices are tried first.

Rules You Should Know

Admission stays provisional until the institute verifies your original documents at reporting
If you do not report by the last date, your admission is cancelled
Unclear or wrong uploads are rejected; re-upload them through your login
Two counselling IDs (General and Sanskrit): report to only one; the other is cancelled
Name and parent-name fixes are not online: use a Rs. 50 notary affidavit at the institute

Your admission is provisional until your original documents are verified at the institute. Report on time, because non-reporting cancels the seat and the registration deductions apply.

Counselling 2026: Common Questions

Who can take part in Pre D.El.Ed 2026 counselling?
Every candidate who appeared in the exam can register; the result was released without a cut-off. You must still have passed Class 12 with at least 50% (General) or 45% (women and reserved categories).
What is the counselling registration fee?
Rs. 3,000, paid online at registration. It is adjusted into your course fee after admission. If you get no seat you are refunded Rs. 2,900 (Rs. 100 deducted); if you are allotted but do not report, Rs. 2,500 is refunded (Rs. 500 deducted).
If I do not get a seat or do not report, do I get the Rs. 3,000 back?
Mostly yes. If you are not allotted in any counselling round, Rs. 2,900 is refunded to your bank account (Rs. 100 deducted). If you are allotted a seat but do not report at the institute, Rs. 2,500 is refunded (Rs. 500 deducted). Refunds go only to the candidate's own bank account, so the name, account number and IFSC you provide must match. Giving false information during counselling forfeits the full Rs. 3,000.
What do I need to log in to the Counselling Form?
Four details: your counselling ID, your roll number, your mother's name and your date of birth.
How many college choices can I fill?
As many as you want. You can select whole districts or All Rajasthan, and every institute in the districts you choose is added. Order them by real preference and lock carefully, because you cannot edit after locking.
When is the first allotment, and what is the Rs. 13,555 fee?
The first allotment list comes on June 20. If you are allotted a seat, you pay the remaining admission fee of Rs. 13,555 online between June 20 and 27, then upload documents and report.
What is upward movement?
A round to try for a higher-preference institute. Apply July 3 to 4, the result is on July 7, and reporting runs July 7 to 9. There is no extra fee, and if you are not moved up, your current seat stays. The fee is not refundable once you are admitted.
I have two counselling IDs (General and Sanskrit). What do I do?
Counsel separately with each ID. If you are allotted in both, report to only one institute. After you report, the other counselling ID is cancelled automatically.
Can I change my name during counselling?
Not online. A name, mother's name or father's name fix is done through a self-declaration on a Rs. 50 stamp, notarised, and submitted with documents at your allotted institute.
